Team Expectations
Redbird Dive Team is for divers that want to excel in the sport of diving. Entry onto the team is by invitation only from our coaches. Divers are invited onto a training squad, each with its own required number of training days per week and required meets to attend.
All team members are expected to train on both 1 and 3 meter boards and to compete on both boards in meets when their coaches deem them ready. Depending on the squad the diver is in, typically we will dive in 6-12 meets a year.

Membership with AAU and USD
Their are two sanctioning bodies in the United States for meets. The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and United States Diving (USD). Different meets we attend will be sanctioned under one of these organizations. Divers are required to be currently registered with both of these depending on the meet. We will help with the registration process for all divers on the team.
